CHAMA-CHAMA-CHAMA
CHAMA-CHAMA-CHAMELEEEEEEON. Ok, I couldn’t help it. Every time I see a bowler cap, I flashback to that iconic Boy George music video where his face is lacquered on and he has all these crazy braids in his hair. I’ve recently started lusting for hats. All shapes and sizes. Soon my closet will be FILLED with hats…a new day; a new infatuation.
So I usually wear my hair straight (in all it’s natural glory), so when Peter asked me if it ever ‘got curly’ (oh boys), I told him ‘not on its own’. Boredom coupled with a little too much time on my hands I curled my entire head and fingered through it to get a bit of a messy-do. I think if I wasn’t so lazy, I’d maybe do it more for some variety.
I’ve been itching to buy something lately….I haven’t gotten anything tangible yet (all money has been spent on Japanese tapas), but I’m expecting something soon in the mail. I’m also watching a Chanel bucket bag on eBay. I let this really cute backpack slip outta my hands, but this time I’m ALERT (and minus a few drinks).
Wearing vintage Saks Fifth Ave blouse, motorcycle jacket, UrbanOutfitters bowler’s cap, Silence+Noise faux leather pants, Zoe Sam Edelman boots, Stam Marc Jacobs purse

Nicole,
Yeah…I’ve always wanted hats but didn’t know where to get them….I got both of my hats on sale at UO for less than 10 bucks each and I really adore them both. That’s going to be my new thing: HATS!

Hannah,
It’s funny that you mention you have the fake version! I’ve seen copies of the Stam everywhere and most of the time girls don’t know it’s a MJ knockoff! Just the trickle down effect of fashion to the masses…a very interesting observation

WM,
I think you can find them online and have them ship to Barcelona. I know when Nastygal had them in stock they shipped internationally…and I think you may be able to find them on amazon.com or even eBay.
I was a little on the fence at first, but I’m glad I took the plunge because they’re totally worth it!

Hi Maury!
I stopped by your blog again; love your new shoes
Well I have stick straight hair. I just took a medium barrel curling iron and curled from tip to root in alternating directions. Then I just flipped my hair over, pulled my fingers down the ends of my hair until there was some resistance and flipped my hair back up.
The end result is a tossled curly (but contained) do.
Took me about 20 minutes….
