I got this cropped H&M sweater a little while ago and apparently chucked it into the closet because I only recently rediscovered it. This is a bad habit I may want to consider scrapping in the new year. That and downsizing my closet to articles that will take me from one season to another. I always have these ostentatious plans that supersede my will power and ability–when will I ever learn??
Speaking of new years, what is everyone doing? I know it may seem a little premature to plan now, but in the circles that I run in, girls have already bought tickets and dresses! I have always done the same thing pretty much every year: get dressed up, pay too much for a ticket, and get smashed. I mean sure, it’s fun. I’m with my bestest friends in the world, but I’ve tired of it all and want something new and different! People in Vancouver: send me your tips!

I’m not a fan of going out for NYE, and it’s one of my best friends birthdays on the 1st, so we’re having a house party – well, we’re having ‘glitterfest’, which involves everyone coating themselves in shiny or sparkly stuff and drinking cheap champagne (we’re gonna fill the sink with ice and have an ice bucket type thing a-happening).
Said friend is also touting the idea of taking shots everytime we get a ‘happy new year’ text; i don’t think i’m gonna be very well the next day!

Haha I know everyones already freaking out trying to get their tickets in line. I think I’ll end up at one of the parties in Gastown, theres a few mostly under $50 but its committing to a shitty Vancouver nightclub that has me hesitant. If you find anything amazing let us know!
