FULL GALLOP

So a lot of things have been happening lately, which is fantastic and a little unexpected. Saturday was my first day not running around, taking pictures or writing. Sitting on the couch and veggin out never felt so good! This outfit was totally birthed out of laziness. Sometimes I just feel like wearing a big ol’ tshirt and not worrying about the rest. I was thinking about sticking shoulder pads underneath (which I may still do) to channel a little Margiela. I still can’t get over how beautiful those horse tshirts were from the S/S 08 collection <drrrooooooool>.

I can’t believe it’s almost July! I’m going away two weekends in a row, which means pictures in some unfamiliar places! This coming up weekend I’m heading to Penticton with some gf’s to meet my bestie who’s taking a break from getting his masters in Manitoba. Hopefully I’m going to get a chance to climb in Skaha and experience a part of BC I’ve never visited. Then the next weekend is Whistler for a night which will probably entail a whole lot of shenanigans.

Not to get prematurely mushy, but I really appreciate all the comments that you guys leave–I read them all and try my best to respond to everyone! If you guys have any suggestions of things you’d like to see more on thehautepursuit, let me know!

    Hi Lauren!
Does Diesel make a tshirt like this too? It probably was inspired by Margiela. You should take a look at her S/S 08 collection–so beautiful.

I love these socks! Sometimes I like to just walk around at home with them on. hehe. Very sexy.

    haha, thanks Ella!!
It’s been a little cold here in Vancouver on & off, so i’ve been able to wear some warmer accessories of late. I def recommend you get a pair. They are so awesome! But beware: they are really, really long! I think I’m pretty average height and they could very well cover my entire leg if pulled up fully.

Mmmh I really like the paradox of your sexy/laid back silhouette : a Mini “physical unveiling” on the top of your thighs . . . for a Maxi power of bewitchment, especially with such a delicate prestance as yours !!!

    Hey!
Yes, the more I look at it, the more I kinda love it. I definitely need to find some way to construct those super boxy shoulder pads from scratch….

Well….lazy doesn’t always look like this for me either…i guess this is as lazy as I’m willing to photograph :P I’m def a blue jeans and tank kinda girl. My stam is so close and dear to my heart. First it’s named after Jessica (go Canada), and second it was my first big ticket item. Siighhhh…
