Green Bowls

Every morning I start my day (often around 6AM) with a pot of green tea to cleanse my system followed by a filling, nutritious ‘beauty’ bowl. It’s filling, super yummy, and good for me. I don’t measure anymore because I can practically build one of these in my sleep, so I broke it down as well as I could. Skip through to find out my recipe!

Green component:

  • 1-1 1/2 packed cup of a dark leafy green: kale, watercress, spinach, etc
  • 1/2 cup of a herbal green: parsley, cilantro, mint, etc
  • 1/2 inch of ginger, finely diced
  • 1/2 tsp Spirulina
  • 6 dried goji berries
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 1/2 banana (frozen is better)
  • 1/2 cup non-dairy milk (I like to make my own milk)

Blend everything, add some ice if necessary and pour into bowl


  • 3/4 cup of mixed seasons, local berries
  • generous sprinkling of any (or all) of the following: cacao, hemp seeds, raw pepita seeds, raw sunflower seeds, bee pollen, coconut shreds, sprouted seeds, nuts (I love almonds and brazilian nuts)
