HALO OF BRAIDS
So continuing the trend I started last week, I’m keeping my hair in milk maid braids because it’s easy and way cooler than a bun or pony tail. When I took the bus to meet Dan at Oakridge, I got my share of side ways glances on the bus. I always get asked ‘does that bother you? that you dress so weird sometimes?’ and the answer is hell no. I think in a world where we often lose ourselves in the crowd, it’s so important to hold onto your individuality!
And it’s official. I’m totally obsessed with this Revlon lipstick. It’s kinda goth, it’s kinda witchy, it’s totally awesome. I definitely was late on jumping onto the lipstick bandwagon because I never thought they looked good on me, but of late I swear I must have hit a lipstick jackpot! Reds, purples, nudes…..the world is my oyster.
And I just realized while looking at these aerial views of my head that my hair almost looks like intestines or something bowel-like. Don’t tell me it’s just me! As I mentioned on twitter earlier, I did a video today of how to achieve the same look, but it’s much harder said then done! Anyhoo, I think I’m going to have to scrap what I filmed and have to rethink how I’m going to do the tutorial. Maybe I should check out some on youtube and pick up some tips?

Darling girl, you have done it again! Love the simplicity of the earrings and of course, (as always) I think your boots are stunning.

However, the question is, why do they find it weird and why what we wear affects others so much?. Mind your own business people..and closet.

hey i think you’re awesome and you have fantastic taste in clothes and i do love your unique style, but lately i think that you’re doing some weird face that doesn’t look good, like you seem to dilate your nosestrils or something like that and it ends up looking like you have this wide nose with nosestrils even bigger! and that sort of half open mouth or relaxed lips doesn’t look good on you and it draws more attention to your nose . it might just be me but i think it looks weird..

i like the braids! and please, as if people were staring at you – i think you look totally normal. it’s not like your va-jay-jay is hanging out. i think it’s much more abhorrant for women to wear socks and running shoes with nylons and a skirt to work than ANYTHING you wear.

okay wow love this post and your braids look absolutly adorable! I wish my hair was long so I can bring the braids around my head…but oh well..I still melt everytime I see this coat it looks so huge and comfy. Actually the way you dress is how most girls dress in Europe.. ( I am sure you are aware being the fashionista you are) esp the bigger cities like Amsterdam.. I actually felt left out b/c I didn’t have any platform booties, scarves and loads of layers when I was there!

WOW !!! love the fur coat. Too bad there are no H&M stores in FL. Also I have that same lipstick shade but mine’s by lancome and the color stays all night and no need to re apply.
