Last week Dan and I had the privilege to shoot two fellow Vancouver fashion bloggers Lily from BleedForFashion and Peter from TheStarvingStylist.  You know how the most brilliant ideas always come to you when you don’t have a pen and paper?? Well this is exactly what happened about 2 weeks ago when I was riding the bus back home from a rather exhaustive day of working. What I can only describe as a sleep-depraved epiphany, I got a vision. It entailed me, Lily, and Peter stomping around the epicenter of Vancouver in killer clothes and shoes (and yes, I was wearing gold pants in my vision). To see it all come together so beautifully just puts the biggest grin on my face. I love these two, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

I first found Lily while perusing the Chictopia gallery a few months ago and was immediately smitten with her tough girl meets sweet girl esthetic and bad ass tattoos. I think as a general rule now: anyone that likes Alexander Wang as much as I do will be considered a kindred spirit. And for those of you that are just as obsessed with shoes, handbags and accessories as me, your mouths will water at what Lily has in her closet! Vuitton, check. Chanel, check. Gucci, check, Louboutin, check. YSL, check. Note to self: ask Lily for closet tour one of these days….

Ahh….Peter…..how I love you! Not only does Peter have a devilish eye for putting things together, but he writes like a villain. Think gossip rag mixed in with The New Yorker. I think I was most excited to see Peter’s hair in person, which does NOT disappoint. It defies gravity and is sculpted/molded to perfection! For the men in your lives that may or already have a faux/real hawk, you need to show them Peter’s picture, as this is how it should be done!

As I hinted on twitter last week, there IS a video! Dan’s best friend Andy came along on our little adventure and took behind the scenes footage as well as interviews with Lily, Peter and I. There’s even a microsecond in there where Dan actually mutters something! Stay tuned for that because it’s going to be great!
