Ahh! My first blog entry EVER! This is so surreal! It was not too long ago that all ‘this’ was just a bunch of ideas and pictures haphazardly strung together in my head. You see, I made a promise to myself on NYE 2009 (yes I make cheeseball resolutions) to start pursuing my dreams and passions.
Like a lot of people in their 20’s, I had my first mini life crisis when I was sitting in my cube and realized that so many of the things I love: fashion, art, music and creating were missing from my 9-5 hum-drum corporate existence. It’s funny. No matter how far you stray from your passions, they will always find you. Always. So here I am pursuing my passions, my dreams—come join me for the ride!
Love these reworked Levis cut offs. They remind me of Julia Salinger a la Party of Five—does anyone else love that show?? Underneath I’m wearing one of my fave basics: Wilfred by Aritzia oversized tank that I literally wear under/over everything.

Thanks for the feedback. Love the name of your blog–super cute! No, I have not. I am busy by nature, so juggling a 9-5 job and thehautepursuit is no problem. I think since I started the blog, it’s definitely created an outlet for all of my ideas and creative energy! Please stay tuned for new entries: I’m going to be posting some work I did with a local photographer in the studio VERY SOON! Shhhhhh…..
