so what is it now? week 3? almost week 4 since leaving beijing. it’s taken me some time to re-adjust back to north america….not because it isn’t great to be home, but because i’m fighting to not fall back into creature comforts and delay my return to China. it’s especially hard right now because vancouver is beautiful in fall. sunny. cold. perfect weather to ride around town.
i’ve been feeling very black and white lately. life is complicated enough, i don’t need to make it busier with a busy wardrobe. i must say, for a long time i refrained from posting anything too plain or simple, but that’s all i wear nowadays! what i’ve learned is that you can make a limited color palette work when you add texture. leather, silk, fur, metallics……it’s more of a subtle busy, which is so much harder to get right.
i love my furry bag because it’s the size of a dog and sorta makes an otherwise quiet outfit loud. it was also mistaken a few times that day for a real moppy dog, which sadly still is missing from my accessories collection. ha.

Loove those cuffs and the furry bag! I love anything fur, whenever I’m wearing fur I can’t stop petting the item lol.

I am right there with you, making life simple, great understated colour pallet with some gd accessories. I don’t like the cold of fall, but I love Vancouver nature and colours when it is fall. Don’t delay your trip, you know who is waiting for you!

everything is perfect! love how you manage complexity to be so simple…if that makes sense.
i always love your looks. you always have the right amount of accessories and layers. i really hate when people put looks together as if they’re walking through their house throwing things on from left to right, or an easier way to put it, trying too hard. you always have just the perfect amount of details.
