So tomorrow will be the first day of self-employment. While everyone else is heading back to their jobs, I’ll be making my way down to my friend Mike’s house to revamp the blog and start building the skeleton of my store. It’s so strange that I’ve been talking about it for so long and now it’s all going to happen! Woo hoo. Really excited.

Dan and I went to Spanish banks today to check out the beach and walk around the pier. I love Vancouver and all the ocean and mountains that surround it; we are so lucky to live here! I’ll admit, it probably wasn’t the smartest idea to wear shorts to the beach, but I just really wanted to show off my new Mendel boots! They were kinda precarious to walk in, but whatever. We don’t need to be practical all the time right??
