Last month I took a week off and spent an amazing time in Koh Samui, one of the small islands off the mainland of Thailand. Thailand is literally comprised of 100’s of these, many of which are completely untouched by man. Although I spent most of my time in Samui, I plan on next time exploring much, much more. Oh yes, there is definitely a next time! Some take away’s: extreme beauty everywhere, abundance of yoga and eco resorts (all of which are very affordable), super fresh food and seafood (for super cheap), next-level hospitality (everyone was so chill and happy). Although Koh Samui has its fair share of big resorts and western conveniences, it still felt like a small island town. The vibe was similar to some parts of Bali, where it was more hippie than corporate. A must-go if you are in Asia!
Also a big thank you to the Conrad Koh Samui (where most of these images were taken) for a wonderful stay on my first 3 nights. What an amazing way to witness this island for the first time!
