last of hong kong
Here are the pictures (finally!) from the famous Goldfinch Cafe in Hong Kong, which Wong Kar Wai shot In The Mood For Love and the equally stunning 2046 in. The food leaves something to be desired, but that’s not what’s important. Maggie and Tony sat here. One cannot resist to channel the languid and oft-melancholy tone of the movies.
For those of you wanting to check this out, it’s located in Causeway Bay on Lan Fong Road. The staff speak English (like almost everyone in Hong Kong) and they have daily specials that include an entree and signature creamy milk tea. Go for the ambience, skip the meal. You won’t regret it!

AHAHAHAHA I LOVE YOU. But in a sense, it plays on with Wong Kar Wai’s themes in his movies: desiring things that you will possibly never have.
The turquoise table cloth is a great accent to the moody photos. That last photo is giving me LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dark lips suit you SO well.
Rest of the outfit very clean, yet it smells like dark glamour.
Rock on!
