LETS GET ANIMATED
I’ve always been intrigued by bloggers getting animated by artists, so when my dear friend McGreggor from NY sent me this picture, I couldn’t help but squeal with glee! I think it’s one thing to be photographed, but to be reinterpreted in brush strokes and pen is an entirely different experience. I think I’m not alone when I say that one of my favorite on-going art projects is the blogger series so skillfully executed by the precociously gifted Danny from Igore & Andre. He has inked the likes of Rumi from Fashiontoast to Karla from Karla’s Closet. I think it’s like getting a star on the Hollywood boulevard. A ‘hey-you-made-it’ gesture in the blogosphere. Yeah, it’s my closet at home! Each and every single time I walk in it I have the biggest smile! Haha! And I have it for 8 months now! You should totally have one too! It would be amazing with your pieces!
