I had some spare time today to play around with my clothes and remembered that I just brought home my white blazer from the dry cleaners. It’s actually one of my favorite purchases of 2009 and wore it to death when I was in NYC (hence the need for a thorough clean). I’ve always loved the idea of bare skin under a low plunging crisp jacket paired with trousers. I mean yeah, I wouldn’t necessarily wear this out with friends, but it’s still a fun idea to entertain!

I’ve been busy these last two weeks working with my friend Mike rebuilding The Haute Pursuit and setting up everything that comes with a bigger and better blog (and store). People this ain’t easy to do on your own, but I just have to remind myself that it’s going to bring me so much more reward than anything I could have accomplished in a cube.

    Yes, it’s unfortunate that certain styles are just too impractical for “real life”! I myself have had to pass up on a few tops and dresses because they were not bra-friendly.

    I love this look regardless of impracticality – I think light-colored boyfriend blazers will be a staple this spring.
