whenever i come back to Hong Kong I’m always surprised by the places I find (often discovered when I get lost). who knew that there was so much GREEN? not only are there trees, but huge tropical plants that make you think you’re somewhere else….far far away. this is why I love Hong Kong so much. there is depth. Literal depth to this place. A mixing pot of culture, food, people–there’s something for everyone here. Some of my latest discoveries include Grassroots Pantry (a vegan restaurant/commune operated by a Cordon Bleu graduate), Life Cafe (I ate here every day–try their Life smoothie), and sadly nameless other local hangouts that only a very local, local knows where to take the uninitiated like myself. Word to the wise: have a very, very good guide!
