MISSUS T

bfblues1-1.jpg

When I was a little girl, I had an Aunt who was dubbed ‘Mrs T’ because of her penchant for loads and loads of gold jewelery. I feel like we could have been kindred accessory spirits because I too, I have a blinding lust for all things heavy, shiny and gold.

With age, I’ve become better at reigning myself in from ridiculous purchases. I think the last garishly costume-y piece of jewelry I bought was two years ago when I suckered myself into buying this awesome (but supremely tacky) Betsy Johnson gangster chain that probably could have housed a clock or two.

This is an ode to my notorious Aunt. May your 80′s gold paraphernalia rest in peace.

Wearing BF denim shirt & shoes from Zara, Talula belt from Aritzia, gold chain from Club Monaco, cuffs from Made Her Think and Forever 21, thigh highs from American Apparel, MJ Stam bag

Yikes the length of that shirt is well not skirt length! I’d be cringing and tucking my hands under my bum if it were me (probably due to gusty British weather)! Props for daring!

The look is effortless though, and you make me want to go and buy a pair of thigh highs :D

    Lauren!
I was wearing a pair of shorts underneath :) I wouldn’t dare go outside wearing nothing underneath either! Just an allusion….
But I have to admit, I can be length challenged at times.

I love wearing shirt/top as dresses once in a while n always with a short DIY tighs underneath as well. U look gorgeous in these ensembles, the thigh high socks give so much character to the entire look n d golden studded cuff’s kinda uncommon compare to d silver studded ones! <3

This vaguely reminds me of that Britney party where you wore a button up shirt and nothing else. It was even shorter than this!

    Love gold jewelery:)

Your face, with your features, is extremely beautiful. May I ask what’s your “ethnical heritage?” (I don’t know if that’s the proper term)
