OUTLOOK: POSITIVE

Whoa, is this a super post or what? I guess I have to make up for some lost time, no? In an attempt to convince more of you that these shoes truly are awesome, I had my friend Tess take some super close-up shots of my new babies. I’m sitting in my room right now and it’s a complete disaster. Shit is everywhere. Gotta walk on tippy-toes to make sure I don’t crush anything valuable.

My little eight legged friend that was only a few inches away from my head. Yes, I’m a bit of an arachnophobe. I understand that the world needs them to kill other bugs, but it doesn’t make them any less effing creepy. <shudder>

I was talking to my friend Stef today about what I should do to mix things up. She suggested I try something entirely different and in the spirit of tossing things up, I think I will take her advice. I have a bad habit of attaching myself to outfits that mix a lot of manly things with slutty things, so in an effort to explore new and different avenues I’m going to dedicate a future uber-girly outfit to my work-mate.

Love the tank!! The strap looks so great as its tapering off towards your shoulder! I love how stylish and chic your look is in the locale of your photos (juxtaposition?). Great pics! :)

    Donna,
I used to hate that the straps would turn inwards on these tanks…but i’m really loving how it looks now…not quite spaghetti, which is good.

Well, for the record I absolutely love your style exactly as it is (this outfit proves my point), but a change is always welcome, we all need to mix things up from time to time! :)

    Lisa,
I’m afraid to say that part of the reason why i started my blog was to wear all of my ‘real’ clothes. You see, I wear a lot of typical office ware to the office. nothing special. Think…a lot of black…..

Ah, yes I see. I was hoping for some alternative to the boring things I wear to work as a young professional. Maybe I’ll have to start my own blog ;) If I do I will invest in a pair of the HOT over the knee boots you have. Those are AMAZING.

    Lisa….
Well I usually wear pretty structured things. Structured but boring! For fall I think I’m going to go for the original YSL woman with the slicked back hair and smoking jacket. I have tons of work trousers and dress shirts…so it works out!

But yeah, start a blog!!! Don’t keep your beautiful clothes hostage!

    Claire,
They are outrageous and I think from an objective standpoint, kinda ugly. BUT i love them. Dearly. If they weren’t so bloody narrow in the back I’d wear them everywhere and anywhere.
