ROCK HARD
Ok, so last night I went to a concert with my dear friend Aneesa to check out a band that we were both semi-obsessed with years ago. They were pretty boys with coiffed hair and slick 80′s synthy beats–kinda Killers but not. I actually got invited back onto the tour bus that night, which came very close to swooping me off to Oregan where they had their next show. Aneesa always tells me I shoulda stayed on the bus and lived a bohemian life. But of course, being who I am I got off because I had an organic chemistry midterm the next day. Long story short, I saw them again last night and kinda fell in love all over again.
I thought I would take a stab at wearing a garter and I must say it’s quite fun; I think I’ll definitely do this again. The only drawback is being mistaken for a hooker, but that seems like part of the territory when you’re taking pictures under a bridge. I guess they didn’t see Peter snapping away??
And an update on the DINSKO boots that I wanted: they are en route to Vancouver thanks to my new favorite person Maria! I can’t wait to get my hands on them and replace my Zoe’s, because well, let’s be honest, if I wear those all the time, they will be destroyed in a few months.
I recently ordered a bunch of goodies and am eagerly awaiting them in the mail. I love getting packages!

Love your outfit a lot! The shirt is great idea I wouldn´t have though of. The only thing that I don´t like are the two black straps that comes out of the socks… They make it less elegant.

Wooooow Dear Vanessa YES I am will never failed to be mesmerized by the way these ” worn as you” over-the-knee boots tend to “sulfurize” the nude part of silky-like thights , a fortiori with such dark tights, very “Alcôve aesthetics scorching-ly turned into day to day Reality” (Pffffffffffff AND now I truly need to catch my Breathe) !!!!!

a) This is an amazing outfit, I have been looking at a similar pair of boots from topshop. Brave!
