Ahhh, my favorite faux fur coat……how I love thee. People still don’t believe me when I tell them that I got it from Urban Behavior for like 60 bucks! Bwahaha. How is everyone doing? Did you get everything that you wanted for Christmas?  I certainly was very generous to myself this holiday season. First I cleaned out the Rodarte x Target collection online, then I got those kick ass Mendel boots from BCBG for 50% off.

The fact that I have left my job and will be self employed starting January 2010 is still settling in….marinating as you might put it. The excitement stage is long gone…and now I’m starting to get antsy and a little scared about how I’m going to make it all happen. As I was telling my friend Michael on my last day in the office, this is the kinda shit that makes us human. New experiences, new challenges, and unforeseen situations….and how we will learn to react to them is what life is all about! Eagerly awaiting to get it all started! In the meantime I’m going to savor probably the last few opportunities I’ll get to sit around and eat ice cream straight outta the tub :) CLASSY.

    omg!!!! i love urban behaviour’s set of fur items!!! i wanted their fur vest so bad, but it got sold out on the day that i wanted to buy them!

    You can’t go wrong with a leopard print faux fur coat, that coat was made for you. I remember seeing those boots at H&M, but def couldn’t pull them off as well as you do. Also saw the Mendel boots you’ve been blogging about at BCBG – very you! Can’t wait to see you rock them ;)

    Santa didn’t give me EVERYTHING on my list, but I did get quite a few items I wanted.
    But the best present came from the boyfriend, who in his fit of insanity decided that I deserved a day of total and utter bliss; Neatly wrapped under the tree was a gift certificate for a complete day at the spa. Six hours of treatments including lunch. :)
    And I did splurge a bit on myself as well. My cousin in the UK did me a huge favor and got me the Marc Jacobs Stam bag after I transferred money for it. (Was having a hard time finding a online store that would ship the real deal to Norway…)

    You look great as always. Nice to see you’re recovered from the cold. :)
    Also, you’re lucky it apparently doesn’t get as freezing cold as it does here – I can’t venture outside unless I pack on two layers of wool..

    I knew I recognized that coat from SOMEWHERE, haha! I have worked at UB for a while now.. sorry to bring you the sad news but I believe the coat has been marked down to $30 or somewhere around there. I’ve had a lot of customers laugh at it and try it on as a joke, but you m’dear suit it perfectly! it looks great on you, (:

    Hey girl! Thanks for your comment on my blog :) My mission: impossible is basically a shopping ban. No shopping for clothes/shoes/accessories for 40 days and nights straight. The twist is to create new outfits within my current wardrobe hence the countdown of days and outfit posts. I started Nov 1st and finished Dec 10th; however, I intended to post a new outfit every day but as you know, Vancouver weather doesn’t exactly permit that nor does it make it easy to take photos outdoors every single day. So I’ve done my time but I’m trying to play catch up with the outfits. It was fun, definitely challenging but it made me look at my wardrobe in a whole other way than before.
