After a very good year of blabbing, musing, and putting pouty pictures of herself on my her blog, The Haute Pursuit has outgrown the modest confines of her 800 by something layout. In this case, size does matter and skinny is not the premium! With the expansion, which is still underway, comes very exciting new ventures including newly added ad space, easier navigation, an e-shop, and a comment box that doesn’t mysteriously eat up your messages!
Ad Space
For the first time, The Haute Pursuit is offering space on her blog for sponsors! Vanessa is looking to provide a home for clothiers and other fashionable people to promote their wares and company in several eye-catching spots on the blog. Improved Navigation
Recognizing that the right half of her blog had become overrun with widgets galore, Vanessa and her programmer/spiritual leader extraordinaire, Mike decided to shuffle around the site making it more reader-friendly. Hopefully with this new feng shui, Haute Pursuit readers can navigate more seamlessly through the site.
Shop The Haute Pursuit
Ahh…the mysterious shop that Vanessa has alluded to in umpteen posts. Don’t fret Haute Pursuit readers because the eshop does exist, albeit still in its infancy. The online store will give readers and other savvy e-shoppers the chance to purchase from Vanessa’s closet, which is chock full of her favorite dresses, tops, shoes and vintage finds.
Video
Vanessa has dabbled in some home-made videos (no, not that kind) that have really sparked her desire to share more of herself and her passion for film with Haute Pursuit readers. This includes, but is not limited to: behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, Q&A’s, and something less definable like this dreamy video she made with her pal, Peter in the summer of ‘09. Do you have an idea of what you’d like to see? Vanessa is interested to hear!

To ensure that readers’ comments are being posted, Vanessa is installing a new comment system in which readers will get confirmation their message was sent. Additionally, if you query in the comment section, you can elect to be notified if a response is made.

this might be a little premature, but …… INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING?
Irinna and everyone else that has asked about shipping: I want to say yes that I will ship all over the world, but I have yet to figure that stuff out. The best way to know is to stay tuned!!!! I will be updating on Twitter as I approach the opening of the store
