VELVET LEOPARD

longleop4

As many of you already know, I have a strange penchant for anything that is leopard print. I don’t know what it is. The feline just calls out to me. One day, I’m going to be that crazy grandma, wearing a leopard track suit and a leather fanny pack. CAN’T WAIT!

It’s been a while since Dan and I got together to shoot something. Everyone has just been busy, busy, busy. Speaking of which, my room has become a makeshift studio. I’ve draped a huge sheet of white paper over my closet and cleared almost everything out to make room to shoot store stuff. I want to reiterate that I have so much respect for those bloggers that shoot themselves with a tripod. There’s a lot of running around, a lot of test and error, and double the amount of effort.

What do you guys think of my skirt? I think I’m going to retire this to my shop as well. It kinda just jumped out at me when I was rifling through the racks at my nearby thrift store. I think any time you have something super garish you gotta pair it with something basic. This is a great ‘lazy’ outfit because a) the skirt is elasticized b) both cardigan and tank top are deliciously loose and c) the hair bun is totally non-fuss.

Don’t worry about the skirt, you make EverY look WORK. That definitely speaks of some kind of talent!

Hahah, granma in a leaopard track suit, yeah, I sometimes also wonder what will become of us ( ppl with styles like this), but hell, by then we’d had our good time!

ok, so pretty much everything is perfect here. i love that most people who would wear a skirt like that that would look totally garish and cheap. you look incredible. i love that you’ve paired it with simple things, love the belt around it and how it is puckered up. LOVE that you’ve done your hair in a bun. such a juxtaposition… not trashy at all. i love it. you’ve seriously got great style. i love seeing how you wear things.

p.s. i am seriously in love with every item you’ve got on… the cross rings, shoes, belt, jacket… everything. love it, love it, love it!!
