WASH OUT
Nude, beige, flesh-tone or whatever you want to call it is one of those colors that is oh-so-right when done in the correct shade and completely unforgiving when not . At one point, I wanted everything nude: blouses, lipstick, bags…but I soon figured out that 1) my skin tone is not compatible with most nude lipsticks (tragic, I know) 2) it is extremely hard to find the right nude.
So out of that brief infatuation came this silk pocket tank that really steps up the whole idea of the slouchy tee. It’s not very practical, but the color is great and so is the shape.
And yes, even though it’s 25+ degrees out, I’m still choosing to wear my Frye boots. I still haven’t broken them in and it’s been over half a year! I must say though, they are awfully close to my heart. I got them at Aritzia on sale around boxing day for $75 dollars. I love clunking around in them. Makes me feel more substantial!

i absolutely love everything about this outfit! i always find myself wearing ankle boots on incredibly hot summer days with almost nothing else…they are more practical for stomping around the city!

Did you say you live in Vancouver? I don’t know why I always imagined the weather there to be like Seattle, but it looks more like Southern California weather!
