WHIP IT, WHIP IT GOOD

Just got home from playing rock band at my friend Tess’ birthday. Jesus, I’m turning 26 this year!!!! Where has all this time gone??? It’s funny how we all race to grow up when we’re kids, but when we’re here <as adults> we want the opposite. But unlike a lot of other people out there…I don’t want to go back to high school or even university. I’m happy where I am right now.
Anyways, aren’t these pictures fun?? My sister took them in my room today. I’m in the process of cleaning it up and making it presentable for a future closet post. I really admire people that have beautiful rooms and furniture, but my shoebox-like quarters leave me little room for imagination (no pun intended). That being said, I plan to toss out my huge ass desk and bed combo that my Mom got me when I was 12. Yes my room is ACTUALLY almost identical to what it was when I was a tween. TRAGIC.
I’ve been wanting to wear this combo for ages now. I love mixing something beautiful with something garish like PVC! I should really do color more. I’m slowly starting to embrace ROYG BIV. I’m very proud of myself <pat on back> bwahaha. Maybe that should be another ‘achievable’ resolution: wear more colors, stop buying everything in varying shades of black/gray.
Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend!

hotttt pics!
love the top & shoes!
Wow wow wow! Lovely pics!
What an amazing outfit!!!!!!
I would have never thought that polka dots and leopard would work this well together….!
Great choice Vanessa and good luck with the “renovation”!

I hope you’re still able to see this comment! I’m so behind on commenting on other ppl’s blogs, my bad! any way, I think this set of photos is one of my favourites. Something about how the vibrancy of the green just meshes well with the PVC and how the PVC brings out the polka dots in your top while complementing the leopard print. It just works and I freaking love it!
